Before starting any type of course, we ask you to take a language level test (with a free trial lesson) to help us to assess your general language competency and place you at the right level, on the appropriate course.

Please note that this test (and the trial lesson) is entirely free of charge and you are not at all obliged to officially enrol on any of our courses.

TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) measures the ability of non-native speakers of English to use and understand North American English as it is spoken, written, and heard in college and university settings.

TSE (Test of Spoken English) measures the ability of non-native speakers of English to communicate orally in English.

NON-EXAMINATION COURSES

1 or 2 x 90-minute lessons per week.

EXAMINATION COURSES

2 x 90-minute lessons per week.
Days and times depending on type of examination.

Our Examination Preparation Courses run from:

1. January to June
2. August to December

The types of courses we offer, set up and run for many companies vary from company to company.

In general, companies like to have a range of courses open to them and their personnel, on both a group and one-to-one basis.

We recommend 4 to 6 participants for both general and specific language courses.
The scheduling of in-company course also varies from company to company … at different times during the working day or in and around the working day.

We are entirely flexible and fully prepared to design and customise courses and set up workshops for specific purposes.

Typically, company courses vary from all-round, general language training to the development of more specifically work-related language skills.

Before commencing any type of in-company course we recommend meeting for a personal presentation and preliminary discussion.
This is invariably followed up with a needs analysis and language level test of the participants involved.
